Regulatory Permitting Manager

BMC MINERALS (NO.1) LTD is looking for a Regulatory Permitting Manager to join us on a full-time basis in our Vancouver or Whitehorse office. This role will involve the management development and submission of major and minor permit applications which are requried to construct and operate our Kudz Ze Kayah mine in south east Yukon. It will also include the management of the permitting processes to ensure timely permit acquisition. As part of this, you will keep the internal team updated on the status of all permit applications and any changes to the regulatory and permitting requirements.

This is a leadership role and a great career opportunity for someone that can work independently and manage a group of technical professionals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in natural sciences or engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years project management experience in preparing regulatory permit applications for major projects
  • Sound technical knowledge and proven technical writing ability
  • Ability to work both independently and with a small team
