How to post and hire a coop student

UBC Mining Engineering offers a unique and innovative course-based Master of Engineering Program in Mining Engineering, providing a world-class professional development program akin to an MBA. Students learn state-of-the-art mining technology, theory and practice in one of the world’s leading mining departments. Admission is competitive and is capped at twenty students per year, to ensure an intimate and interactive learning environment.  Students have the option of completing a 4 or 8 month coop work term.  We are looking for coop work placements starting in May of 2012.  All of our students have already completed an undergraduate degree in Engineering (Mining, Mineral Processing, Chemical, Materials, Civil, Mechanical, or Geological) or Geosciences.  Many of our students are from other parts of the world including: Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, India, Iran, Korea, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Panama, Peru, Tanzania, Senegal, Venezuela and the USA. The Engineering Coop program assists with securing work permits for international students.
