Become a member of the Mining Association of British Columbia and help make mining an even bigger part of BC’s future!

Mining is one of BC’s largest and oldest industries and Vancouver is home to more than 850 mining companies exploring for and developing mining projects both in BC and around the world. Billions of dollars in equity are raised here and, thousands of people are employed either directly or indirectly in this industry. BC is also a manufacturing, shipping and export centre providing products to many of the key markets of the Asia Pacific.

Mining remains BC's second largest resource industry and continues to be an essential part of the provincial economy. Keeping it there is one of the primary goals of the MABC which represents the collective needs and interests of operating coal, metal and industrial mineral mining companies.

The MABC is at the forefront of mining issues and public policies that directly impact your bottom line. The association is the industries’ voice regarding environmental regulations, taxation, infrastructure demands, labour issues, health and safety and international trade.

With over a century of achievement, the MABC is your voice with senior decision-makers in government, communities, NGOs, First Nations and the media.
