Avanti Kitsault Mine Ltd.
Avanti Kitsault Mine Ltd. (AKML) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Alloycorp Mining Inc., a TSX-Venture listed company. Alloycorp is spending $1 billion to develop the Avanti Kitsault Mine. Once in operation, Avanti Kitsault Mine Ltd will become one of the top four primary producers of molybdenum in the world.
Avanti Kitsault Mine Ltd is located in the Nass Valley Area, just under 200 km north of Terrace, BC. The mine is fully permitted for construction, receiving its environmental assessment certificate from the Province of British Columbia in March 2013, and an amended Mines Act permit on June 16, 2014. A Co-operation and Benefits Agreement was announced between Avanti Kitsault and the Nisga'a Lisims Government on June 3, 2014.
